Making an arbor is like building a special kind of outdoor house for plants to grow on. It's like a little shelter that helps plants like flowers or vines to climb and look pretty.
First, we need to find some long and sturdy sticks or poles. These will be the main parts of our arbor. We can use wooden or metal poles, whichever we like.
Next, we dig two holes in the ground where we want our arbor to stand. These holes will be like the arbor's feet. We make sure the holes are deep enough and far apart so that the arbor will be stable.
Then, we put one pole in each hole and fill the holes with soil or concrete to keep the poles in place. We might need some help from grown-ups to do this part safely.
After that, we take another stick or pole and attach it horizontally across the top of the two poles we just put in the ground. This will be like the arbor's roof. We can use nails or strong rope to hold it in place.
Now, we have the basic structure of our arbor! We can decorate it by adding some pretty flowers or plants around the poles. As the plants grow, they will climb up the poles and make the arbor look even more beautiful.
